Submitted by Ditesco, the City of Evans Wastewater Treatment Plant project was awarded Best Project in the water/ environment category. Dewberry provided water/wastewater engineering services for the design of the plant in Evans, Colorado.

The Kettle Creek flow control valve design-build project in Colorado Springs was submitted by Garney Construction, Inc. and earned the Best Project award in the specialty construction category. Dewberry provided site/civil engineering design services for the facility, which provides 75% of the drinking water to residents of Colorado Springs.

The Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado, won the Best Project award in the residential/hospitality category, submitted by Mortenson. The project also received a merit award in the specialty construction category, submitted by Encore Electric. Dewberry provided site/civil engineering services for the design of the 1.9 million-square-foot facility. The $857-million project was completed in 2018 and includes 1,500 hotel rooms and multiple restaurants.
