Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced the completion of the new Loudoun County General District Courthouse in Leesburg, Virginia. The project is part of a 30-year comprehensive programming and expansion planning project and was designed to blend in with the newly constructed surrounding community and historic Leesburg infrastructure.
The program is a multi-stage expansion project for the Loudon County court system and Leesburg court campus. This newest addition is scheduled for occupancy in late October.
“It has been a great honor to have been involved in a project of such high importance for Loudoun County and the town of Leesburg,” says Dewberry Project Manager Jim Beight, RA. “The building fits seamlessly into the courts campus as well as the historic fabric of the town.”
In addition to designing the new courthouse, Dewberry provided information technology, security and detention planning, environmental consulting, interior design, and civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services.
