Due to aging infrastructure and a need to modernize, we conducted a facility study of Bartlett Yancey High School for the Caswell County Board of Education. The objective of the study was to conduct a campus wide facility appraisal to identify deficiencies and propose overall needs of the existing buildings and site at Bartlett Yancey High School with the goal of replacing outdated facilities (Halls 1, 2, and 3) with a new administration and classroom facility. We developed schematic floor plans, site plans, building elevations, exterior rendering, Revit 3D model, and cost estimates of all improvements. The study was utilized as a basis for a county-wide bond referendum on constructing the improvements. We participated in public meetings and collaborated with the board of education and board of commissioners.
