In close coordination with the client, we are developing a comprehensive on-site build-out plan to delineate which activities can be conducted off-site and which are required to be performed within the facility. Extensive planning has been required to develop procedures for bringing materials and data into the building, determining what materials and data would be allowed to leave the building, and defining the scope and location for system programming. The development of a portion of the design documents and all of the as-built documents are required to be produced on site. This process was instrumental in enabling us to obtain a facility security clearance, a determination made by the government that a contractor is eligible for access to classified information.

As work continues, we have completed the risk management framework process. We have received an authority to operate (ATO) for a portion of our work, a process aimed at minimizing and managing risk responsibility, which comes from the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). A subsequent ATO will be received upon completion of the remaining installation.
