Cane Creek Centre Environmental and Engineering Services
Minimizing the Environmental Impact of Development
Danville, Virginia
The site plan has already accommodated two manufacturers: cabinetmaker Yorktowne and furniture maker Swedwood, with investments of $15 million and $280 million, respectively.
The site plan has already accommodated two manufacturers: cabinetmaker Yorktowne and furniture maker Swedwood, with investments of $15 million and $280 million, respectively.
Supporting one of the largest economic development investments ever made in Southern Virginia, we provided environmental and engineering services for the 800-acre Cane Creek Centre infrastructure that included a Norfolk Southern rail spur. Environmental permits obtained in record time became a deciding factor in Swedwood - furniture manufacturer for IKEA - selecting the site for its new 200-acre plant.
