We are providing a wide range of surveying, engineering, and construction inspection services to the design-build team, including highway, roadway, and interchange modification design. Our work includes the structural design of stations, 31 pedestrian bridges, and rail bridges, as well as architecture; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design; and hydrologic and hydraulic studies and design. The scope also includes site engineering, environmental studies and permitting, erosion and sediment control design, right-of-way coordination, and utility design and coordination.
Our team is developing traffic maintenance plans for the heavily traveled Dulles Corridor, which includes the Dulles Toll Road, the Dulles International Airport Access Highway, the airport roadway network, and the Dulles Greenway. In addition, we have been challenged to meet new water quality design criteria under the Virginia Stormwater Management Program, which will be the first time it is implemented on a project of this size and scope. We are also leading the quality assurance/quality control program for the construction phase, providing oversight, testing, and inspection for the project.
