years supporting HMTAP

Our firm and its subcontractors provided technical assistance to 55 communities in Texas to develop Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) applications for Hurricane Harvey. We procured technical assistance for comprehensive identification and evaluation of HMGP grant projects in the disaster area. We provided subject matter expertise in HMGP application development to expedite and increase the quality of the applications submitted to FEMA. We participated in community outreach and coordination to help build upon their notice of intent documentation.

Hazard mitigation is a critical component of FEMA’s overall mission. FEMA offers technical assistance to states and local communities through its Hazard Mitigation Technical Assistance Program (HMTAP). Our firm has supported HMTAP for more than 15 years, working as a prime contractor for the past 11 years.
