During the preliminary phase, we conducted environmental studies and provided conceptual design for 20 miles of roadway, structural, drainage, and stormwater management facilities, which required new lane alignment as well as modifications to existing toll plazas, service areas, and maintenance yards. During the final phase, we were the prime designer responsible for relocating Interchange 8’s toll plaza and ramp, widening Routes 33 and 133, creating a new grade separated interchange, and relocating local roadways. We supported Section 7's final design through preliminary and environmental engineering, civil engineering for two road relocations, stormwater management, traffic maintenance, ITS design, and structural engineering for two local bridge reconstructions and four mainline retaining walls.
