NOAA Coastal Geospatial Services Contract

Enhancing NOAA’s Digital Coast Platform and Providing Coastal Geospatial Services
U.S. coastal areas, including the Great Lakes states and island territorial jurisdictions

Geospatial services are vital to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office for Coastal Management’s (OCM) mission. A key component of OCM’s mission includes the establishment and continuing enhancement of NOAA’s Digital Coast platform, which allows public access to data and information produced under the coastal geospatial services contract (CGSC) program. These services are critical to help communities address the impacts of coastal development, sea level rise, natural disasters, and other coastal and oceanic concerns.

15

4th

consecutive CGSC award

We were awarded a $49 million shared-ceiling indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) CGSC by OCM. This five-year term contract is our fourth consecutive CGSC award. For more than 15 years, we have provided OCM with geospatial data, training, tools, and technology in support of its mission to collaborate with and assist the coastal management community.

Under CGSC 4, we provide technical expertise in lidar and imagery data acquisition, high-resolution topographic and bathymetric product generation, thematic mapping, survey and control services, geospatial services, and geospatial training to support state, local, and regional coastal resource management needs.
